  As far as these games go, I don't have any experience with them but I know Mother 3 was requested a ton for localization outside of Japan.

  Yes, it indeed was. As a huge Earthbound fan and Ness main, I understand moves like Brainshock, Mushroomization, PSI Farewell, and etc.

  As far as the official titles go, I only played Earthbound (I did complete it, though). Thinking of trying Mother 3 at some point.
  
  On another note, there's currently a fan-remake of the first Mother game in development. I played the demo, and it was pretty good.

  Anything related to Mother is gonna be good. People always go all out on those, idk why, but it's awesome!

  2024 marks the 30th anniversary of the release of MOTHER2. Earthbound is planning various plans this year according to their Twitter.
